Elizabeth is a fourth generation attorney, preceded in the practice of law in Texas not only by her father, but also by her great grandfather, Henry D. Nelson of Linden, Texas, and her grandfather, G. H. (Hobert) Nelson, who practiced in Lubbock and West Texas for over 50 years. Elizabeth is a Lubbock native and a fourth generation attorney in the Nelson Family. She has practiced law with her father, George H. Nelson, since 1992. She has been active in various civic organizations including the Junior League of Lubbock, Women’s Protective Services, Y.W.C.A. Women of Excellence Solicitations Committee, and the Volunteer Services Council for the Lubbock State School. Elizabeth is a Charter Member and Ordained Elder at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lubbock.
